About
Preacher curls are performed while seated, with the upper arms resting on a support pad. As you bend your elbows, the handles move along a fixed path. The primary load is placed on the biceps, while other elbow flexors and the forearm flexor muscles assist in the movement.
How to do it
- 1Bend your arms, pulling the handles toward your shoulders while keeping your upper arms pressed against the support.
- 2Stop before your shoulders shift forward or the lever reaches the machine’s end stop.
- 3Lower the handles in a controlled manner until your arms are straight. Stop sooner if the fully extended position feels uncomfortable.
